We could not be more thrilled to work with artist Sable Elyse Smith to produce her opera If you unfolded us in 2027. This fall is a perfect time to learn more about this extraordinary multidisciplinary artist, with exhibitions being staged in Los Angeles and New York City.

Regen Projects will present SKY FENCE GROUND, a solo exhibition of new work by Sable that opens on November 6th. Featuring woven works on paper, video work, and a monumental sculpture, the show engages a wide range of material from Sable’s vast creative practice. Learn more about the exhibition at Regen Projects.

For those of you in NYC, Sable has also been selected as this year’s Suzanne Deal Booth / FLAG Art Foundation Prize recipient. The accompanying exhibition Clockwork is currently on view at The FLAG Art Foundation. Read more about the exhibition at The FLAG Art Foundation.

It’s a celebration of Sable on both coasts! We look forward to sharing more with you as we prepare for our upcoming production of If you unfolded us, which opens at Catch One in July 2027.
