Tony Shayne

Biography

Tony Shayne is a freelance designer, production manager, and educator. He has worked both nationally and internationally in dance, theater, music, opera & film/tv. Over the past two years, Tony has helped performing arts organizations pivot to digital platforms including Boston Lyric Opera’s desert in, LACO’s Close Quarters, and Opera Parallèle’s Everest. He has held staff positions at renowned organizations like ODC and REDCAT and has worked at some of California’s best colleges including UCLA, CalArts, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and most recently served as a Lecturer at Stanford University.

Tony is the Founder & Lead Consultant of Theory & Practice Productions (T&P), a company formed on the belief that all productions, big and small, need the support of dedicated artisans and administrators to help execute their vision to the highest quality.
