The Decade Fund
The Industry is proud to announce the creation of our Decade Fund, an ambitious new initiative devoted to raising crucial funds that will sustain and grow the organization’s commitment to artists—ensuring that our engagement with opera and the arts, across both disciplines and communities, remains an essential part of the Los Angeles cultural landscape for the decade ahead and beyond.
When Yuval Sharon founded The Industry in 2010, the director imagined an organization that would not only produce groundbreaking, collaborative operatic works, but also open new possibilities for the art form itself.
Devoted to artistic programs in the years to come, the Decade Fund will enable The Industry to continue this mission.
Your generous donation at $5,000 or above today will make it possible to commission and develop major artistic projects with both renowned and emerging composers, dramaturges, singers, and instrumentalists.
We will also be able to create new, smaller public engagements with audiences throughout Los Angeles and beyond, expanding on opera's potential as a platform for new voices and stories.
All donors to the Decade Fund will receive special recognition for their leading support, and, as our closest supporters, will be invited to special annual events with Industry artists and directorship—considering our company and the evolving landscape of culture and the arts.
