When are the performances?

Where will the performance happen?

The Comet / Poppea will be presented at WAREHOUSE at Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, located at 152 N Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

 

How long is the performance?

The Comet / Poppea is approximately 75 minutes with no intermission.

 

How do I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online at MOCA.org beginning April 25, 2024, and will be sent digitally to your email or mobile device. All sales are final; however, ticket exchanges for any reason are available with 24 hours' advance notice. Exchanges may be subject to fees or an increase in ticket price. If you have questions about your tickets, please get in touch with tickets@moca.org.

 

How much are tickets?

$40 General Admission

$35 MOCA, The Industry, AMOC* Members (while supplies last)

$25 Students (while supplies last)

$200 World Premiere June 14, 2024 (includes access to special reception)

 

Who is performing?

The Comet / Poppea features a rotating cast of performers from Los Angeles and New York. Please visit the project page for a complete list of casting and performance dates. Engagements are subject to change.

 

Where will the audience be?

The audience will be seated in two sections (East and West) on either side of the rotating stage. Each section provides a complete yet unique viewing experience. You will select your preferred section at the time of purchase. Sections are general admission.

 

Should I see it twice?

We welcome you to come back and experience another perspective or different performers, but it is optional. If you decide to return, please select a different section when purchasing.

 

Where can I park?

There is not a dedicated lot at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. However, there are paid parking options available in the Little Tokyo area:

  • Aiso Street Garage, 140 N. Judge John Aiso St., Los Angeles, CA 90012
  • Japanese Village Plaza Parking, 115 S Central Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012
  • Joe's Auto Parking, 360 E 2nd St, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Please allow yourself enough time to walk to the venue.

Public Transportation:

  • Geffen Contemporary at MOCA is directly across the street from the new Little Tokyo/Arts District Station, which is served by Metro light rail lines A and E. 
  • LADOT Little Tokyo/Arts District Dash A stops at 1st St. and Central Ave. across the street.
