Jaquain Sloan

Biography

Jaquain Sloan hails from the Mountains of NC and is a classically trained bassoonist. In May of 2018 he graduated with honors from University of Southern California with a Masters in Bassoon Performance and completed his Bachelors degree at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Singing was his first musical outlet and has stayed with him even after choosing to pursue degrees in bassoon. Jaquain participated in the 2018 international collegiate competition of acapella (ICCA) with the SoCal VoCals and helped lead them to their fifth consecutive victory. Later that year he went on to perform their winning set at Carnegie hall. Jaquain has sung for artists such as Seth McFarland, Michael Bolton, Kento Masuda, and Jonsi.
