A dark and darkly funny coming-of-age tragi-comedy, The Rat Land tells the tale of an adolescent girl caught between her nightmarish home life and a near-psychotic fantasy world of her own devising. Gordon Beeferman is a composer and pianist whose work spans opera, orchestral and chamber music, jazz, improvisation, and collaborations with dance and other arts.
